The Slide 2018 Interprovincial Development Team is recruiting new athletes for the upcoming season. We are currently establishing our spring and summer schedule for recruitment camps. The second Skeleton 2010 Interprovincial Development Camp will be happening on August 21/22 at Canada Olympic Park. This one will be a little bit different then the first one, as it will have the athletes do some activities that will baffle, confuse and make them feel like little children :) The idea will be to see who really is the greatest at simple tasks and will not neccesarily favour those with gifted speed and strength. Emily and I sure are interested to see who gets crowned King and Queen of the simple!

The excitment from the recent 2010 Vancouver Olympics has been evident, as all 3 Provincial Skeleton Assocations and Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton have seen fantastic turnout numbers at their Canada-wide recruitment camps. Young talented athletes and those with Olympic dreams have been flooding the camps to show their stuff. The Slide2018 program is looking forward to putting some of these recruits on the ice in the fall to see how they fare. We could very well be introducing our fantastic sport to a future Olympic and World Cup Champion!
